Muay Thai Classes for Kids

Kids Muay Thai

My name is Robert Mosier. I am the Owner and Head Instructor at Florida Muay Thai. For over 10 years I've been teaching children like yours, instilling character-building tools found through martial arts. Watch as your child increases their confidence, energy and spirit. And all of it comes while learning how to kick, block, and punch.

Your child's first and biggest challenge comes not from "fighting for his rights on the street”, or "beating up the neighborhood bully”. It comes, instead, from battling a far more sinister force: your child's own fears and self-doubts.

Muay Thai is less about your child learning to fight others than it is to overcome their innermost fears.

In other words, when your child uses the discipline learned in Muay Thai, they have the power to transfer that discipline to all other areas of life.

  • Respect:
Through "tough love" on the mat, your child will learn respect for adults, peers and most importantly, themselves. It takes a lot of courage and self-confidence to defeat the ego - the first step necessary to give respect.

  • Courage:
Your child will find the courage to move outside of their comfort zone. They will be motivated to take on more difficult moves and skills; building their overall self-worth.

  • Persistence:
Your child will find joy in improving their physical stamina. They can walk farther, run longer and practice skills until they get them right. In turn, they learn not to give up and will strive harder to reach their goals. Even if they fail, they won't let self-doubt get in the way of finding a solution.

  • Self-Control:
They'll refuse to give in to negative peer pressure by developing a deeper respect for rules.

  • Focus:
They'll learn to "zero in" on specifics via thorough instruction of skills. For example, when you “throw a punch” you are simultaneously completing at least five different steps.

  • Self-Confidence:
Watch as your child finds the courage to try new things and not give up easily.

But don't just take my word for it. I personally invite you and your children to visit and partake in a class FREE of charge.

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
